top of the line reels in the market questions
theres no 2 speed on the big everols. ive been thinking about the duel because of the quick 2 speed handle (reel backwards). just careful not to get your gear stolen thats the only thing thats turned me away from getting a super high class reel.
Not sure where you got this info from
They make two speeds including the 14/0 and 18/0. I have a 14/0 2spd on its way..........
As to the OP, it really depends on budget. I personally would rather find a used 14/0 everol (same size as an ATD 130, or Tiagra 130 etc), but I think you left out one other choice as well....the Fin Nor Santiago 130 that you can get from tackledirect and get a free 300 dollar reel with it.
I think with Duel 12/0Wide (2K unless find one used), Accurate ATD 130 (2k unless find one used, never found one used before) or everol 14/0 (1550 new, unless find one used) or 18/0 everol (1800, never seen one used) you will be happy but it comes to price in my book and one other thing. Everol doesnt restrict you with a strikebar, I can ease all my drag into a fish and not have to slam it in him and potentially pull hooks. It also has a simple metal slider that you can set a strike bar if you really want it. Oh and I have yet to service my 12/0 everol in over 2 years, running strong through sand, saltwater, thrown to ground and of course lots of sharks and goliaths. And my 12/0 doesnt weigh that much really at all, now the harnell 585 it is on is another story

You can find used 14/0s everols once in awhile, I just bought a 2spd for 600$ shipped and there is an overpriced one speed on ebay now for 750$.
If I had the money for new, id go with duel, accurate, everol or even Fin Nor Santiago....id stray away from the internationals and tiagras as your in a whole new category for fishing.
